Aren't those short tubes welded on the longerons supposed to have fairleads?

      Re: Wing Springs

As to the aleron cable tension, Im not the designer, but I can tell you that the cable tension does not change enough to notice during normal flight.Keep in mind that where it has a posible dihedral change of 36" at the tip, that isnt normal flight mode.I have floan it with as little as 150 psi in the system which makes the airplane look like a pidgen on final, the controls dont get stiff. Dont ask me why. as to the attachment at he base of the strut, the geometry remains the same as if it were fixed.the movement of the wings doesnt change at that point.
As to the engine size, Its an O-200 conversion and I belive the engine develops its power @ 2575rpm.
Everywhere I go I eighter get people saying how unique and special it is or other people trying to convince me how dangerous it is with all kinds of techical reasons.
Im shure the desinger did his homework
Itsstill flying 50 years after the installation
      Thank for your intrest
