exhaust pipe size

My exhaust pipe has rusted through right where it exits the lower cowl. I'll need to have a new section of pipe welded on. I put my measuring tape to the pipe to determine it's size and find a suitable section of new pipe but with it being rusted and deformed it was hard to determine the size.

It appears to be 2" OD. Does this sound right?

The pipe that comes down from the crossover tube out of the bottom of the cowl is 2" O.D.
