    a 46 BC12-D

60hrs SMOH, new leather interior, great paint..... a nice little bird. Plane was my cousins but he was forced to sell.

now I need to get it from it's current location in Indiana to Arizona.

here are some pics I shot of it in August when I went to visit him. I'm excited to get it out here and fly the hell out of it!

How did it get the pre-war doors with the swing-out windows??? They won't fit a post-war door opening I believe...

There is a gentleman I just recently had fly my L-2B from San Jose to Illinois. Reasonable and experienced. He can probably fly out free to point of pickup and then he can fly free from your area once delivered, (he's an airline pilot and can jump on a plane to wherever). If you want his number please send me a message.
                  Cheers,

Nice lookig T-craft....I have owned five different planes... the T-craft is the most fun to fly...stay away from cross winds until you are very comfortable on landings. I like the wheel pants...trying to find some for my BC12D

The lower cowl is the same as my '40, BC65, the later 46's had a difference lower cowl.

Re: bought my first Tcraft today

I'm still learning the little things like doors, cowls, etc about these Tcrafts so bear with me during my learning curve. If it were Cheetahs or Pietenpol Aircampers I could talk for days

I got in touch with a ferry pilot, Jason Gerard who will be doing the flight for me. As of now he's scheduled to start the journey on Tuesday AM. If weather and mechanical gremlins permit, I should see my new bird on Thurs or Fri.

I've got about 50 hours in Super Cubs and about 6 hours in the Tcraft I just bought. That's the extent of my tailwheel time, but after the first 8 hours in the Super Cubs I was hooked!

Now maybe, just maybe this Tcraft will give me some motivation to finish my Pietenpol project I've been working on for the last 4 years.... Here's a photo of that fine t'dragger project.
