I was to a fellows home the other day looking at his plane and he showed me all the AD's for his plane. Stupid me didn't ask how he got them. It looked like he had put in a serial no., and then printed out what came up. Can any one help me on this? Where do I go?

Most of the "libraries" that IA's are required to maintain have the capability to generate AD lists for a particular airframe, engine, prop, or other accessories. These inclusive databases are expensive running in the $350 to $1000 range per year. Much of the information can be found from other sources as well if you want to dig around.Comment

Interesting point about ADs and being an airplane owner is found in part 91.417(a) and 91.417(a)(2)(v).
The registered owner is required to keep a list of AD status & activity.
Mechanics can execute compliance with an AD and IA's check for compliance at annual time.
But the registered owner must keep a list of AD comliance and status.
