  • Floats on a Model 19. . . I need prop recommendations please

Putting floats on a bc12-d that's been modified to the equivilant of a f-19 via the Gilberti STC. Engine is a 0-200. What do you guys on floats recommend for a Propeller.

    Thanks

1b90 74-43 is the F19 / 0-200 approved long prop. Works good! I have mine pitched to 42 and l pull 2500 on climb out down here in HOT Texas.

The C-150 seaplane prop is a 75-38 great prop, but hard to find and might not be able to get it approved on the Tcraft.

I agree that the 74-43 is the approved one and a wee bit less pitch would be good...

Kinda hard to find a good used 1B90 74 x anything these days. It took me about a year to find one and I had to pay $1200 for it. Its practically brand new and works like a dream. I have used the same prop(74-42) on the A65 and 0-200. The 0-200 only spins it 200 more RPM on take off and 150 more in level flight.
