  • Lyc. 0-145 eng. and open cowl questions

Does anyone out there have a source for the heater barrel assemblies, drawings or old ones for patterns, for both carb heat and cabin heat? These are the shrouds around the exhaust stacks with scoops sticking out into the breeze. This is for an open cowled BL-65. The part #s are carb heat: BL-A615 and cabin heat: BL-A626.
Another question is; How do you open the Curtis valve on the gascolator during preflight if there is an air scoop in the way? For a while I thought that hole was in the cowling to access the gascolator........duh.

How about sources for open cowlings, Mine are getting rough.
    Thanks for any info. Howard
