  • Open topp cowl for DC-65 or L_2

Tribe, I am flying a nice DC--65 except for the nose cowling which
is not too good. I found a NOS lower open cowl, now if I can find one for the top I'll be in hog heaven.
Anyone have one out there, or know of someone who might make one.

    Cowl

Chet what a treat to see the authors name of the book on my night stand. I recently was in Florida and visited Sonny from Classic air ventures. He had just completed a new cowling for his dc65 and I think could be talked into making another. Dan
    Sonny is at www.flyoldplanes.com

Chet I have about six top cowls here ; but they are all different sort of! If you could use butcher paper , trace around yours OR what you want with which fastener ; Boeing or Dzus and mail to me. the front piece is the formed one then the other has the wire inside....... guys have just stopped by and picked out what they need.
