  • Comair Flight 5191

Let's all remember to say a prayer tonight for the families of those lost early this morning on Comair Flight 5191 and please take a little extra time to say an additional prayer for the first officer and only survivor who is still barely clinging to life.
This tragity has hit way too close to home for me and at this point I have found out that I knew at least 2 of the people lost on that flight.

Thanks forrest. I will keep you updated on what I know.I did get some second hand info that the co-pilots injurys are those more related to an impact rather then fire. The same person also said they thought the burns he did have were nothing near life threatening but he did have multipule broke bone injurys and some internal. I remind you this is SECOND or THIRD hand info that originated from someone who is a Lexington/Bluegrass Field Security officer.

Then I open the local paper at 5:30 this morning and find that a former Alliance person Erik Harris was on the flight. He graduated here in 1996, he lost two uncles & I think a cousin here last year to a CO2 accident. Another Uncle passed four days later . His Mom is a special ed teacher here in Alliance, he had a degree in forensic psychology from Morehead university in Morehead, Ky.... was enroute to work with the New Orleans Police Dept.
          thanks Kevin for any info

Sorry to hear about that Crispy, knowing some passengers. Bless all who was on the flight including the co-pilot who is fighting for his life.
