Hello, I am new to this forum and wonder if anyone could help me. I found the BC12 D that I originally owned in 1969. I purchased it in Fostoria Ohio I was 17 years old an the price was 1000 hard eared dollars. I rebulilt the airplane in 1970 and sold it in 1973. I had not seen the aircraft for 33 years.
It is dissasemebled in a hanger in MEMPHIS TN. I could not resist and bought it. What I need to know it the height. The length of the airplane Minus the rudder. (acrually all I need is the width of the rudder) and the length and width of the wings. I plan on bringing it back in a enclosed auto trailer I own. I want to make sure it fits and need the width of the wings so I can make slings to hold it to the inside sides of the trailer.
I'm pretty excited . This airplane started me in my aviation career. I had 68 hours when I bought it and now 37 yeas and 22,000 hours later I plan to own and fly it again. I figured the least I could do was rescue it forn the hanger it has sat in since 1993.
I leave August 31 to pick it up. Thanks
