Can anyone tell me quickly the engines mount(to firewall) dimensions of the Taylorcraft without me having to yank cowls. Horizontal and vertical spacing as well as top to bottom spread. Thanx!

      Re: Engine Mount Dimensions

Sorry it took so long. The upper dimension between the upper bolt centers at the firewall is 16 and 3/4. The lower is 23 and 7/16. The vertical dimension at firewall to bolt centers is 24 and 3/4. The upper between centers at engine is 7 even. Lower at engine is 10 and 1/2. The vertical dimension at engine is 11 and 9/16 to bolt centers. The mount from firewall to the forward engine side is 7 and 15/16. This is all measured from my BC-65 which is enginless at the moment. Winston

        Winston,

Thank you for taking the time to measure. I am looking for a Franklin mount for my "B" and this will help.
