  • Fabric Screws

The technical section shows EA Capital Air Service, PO Box 467, Dover, DE 19901 owns the STC for attaching fabric with PK screws.

I sent them a letter. The letter was returned with the note " no such number/street.

Can anyone help with a contact name and address, a phone number would be great. Thanks

    Re: Fabric Screws

Good news on this one! Rob Lees had the STC on his website (an invaluable resource) free for the taking a while back. I'm sure if you go there, you'll still find it.

If you're going to recover your T using screws instead of Martin clips, I'd be interested in your experience and opinion as you go along. I don't like the clips....mine keep trying to pop up through the fabric. Maybe it wasn't done right, but I've seen several that looked the same.

rumor has it that the factory is rib-stitching the stamped ribs. You may be able to get a letter from them stating it as an approved method.

I stitched Crispy and is looks much better then T-craft wire.I used the flat rib stitch cord and it really does a great job, lays flatter and is 10 times stronger then the regular round wax coated rib stitch cord.I have used the wire and it was impossible to make it lay down tight.

We've been down this road before, but I agree with Crispy... but there's been some that swear that it's not legal for stamped ribs... our FSDO disagrees. I'd talk to the local inspector...
