I am looking for the tire and hub assembly for a HEATH tailwheel. I have the fork assby and new bearings but need everything else....tire, hub, seals. Let me know if you have one or any of the parts for sale? Thanx!

FYI......
WagAero does not carry the Heath tailwheel and Aircraft Spruce has them on indefinite back order(rumor has it they have been back ordered over a year). Does anyone know who makes these for Aircraft Spruce? I have done several searches on the net and have come up blank on this one.MIKE CUSHWAY

Sorry, I said Wag. I got mine from Spruce I guess. I replaced a very good wheel with a new one just a short while ago. There was a little play in the bearing, but not serious to the extent to make it unairworthy. I think a new bolt would take care of most of it. I'll be happy to send you my old wheel if you want it. Say shipping + $15.00. (I recall new ones were $26.00) If you don't want it or don't think it's ok, you can send it back. However I think it's fine. It's got about 100 hours and 6 years on it.

We noticed a posting in the forum regarding the Heath tailwheel which has been pffered in the Aircraft Spruce catalog for several years. We obtained these tailwheels from a local supplier who has recently notified us that he has depleted his supply and cannot obtain any more, as they are no longer in production. We have removed the Heath tailwheel from our website and will removed it from the next edition of our catalog. We do stock several other makes of tailwheels as shown in out catalog and on our website.
