I went to the Factory last April and talked to Harry at length. He promised to make a big splash at Oshkosh. He stated the factory was bringing more than just the Sport and an F22. I think he promised to have 4 to 5 planes ready to go. I invite and urge anyone going to the EAA to report their findings. Goodluck Harry and thanks to any member of the tribe that writes factually on the topic.

Anyone who is incontact with the factory, please send a long my sincere best wishes and hopes for a good showing and several sales at OSH.
There's been some things I didn't like, and a few pointed comments that came out of my keyboard, but I sincerely wish them a big success for everyones sake.

Don't be too disappointed if the factory does not attend Oshkosh this year. It is expensive to do so, and it take focus away from the task at hand, building parts and airplanes. While new orders are important, so is fullfilling existing orders.
I attended the 2004 show with the factory and was in Brownsville building the first Taylor Sport during Oshkosh 2005. Our discussions in July 2005 apply today: attending airshows takes your eye off the ball for almost a month, and that is too much time. The preparations time, moving the aircraft, weather, ground crew and sales brochures all add up to a lot of time that could/should be spent building the airplanes. While TS-1 is willing and able to fly to Oshkosh, the time to get a pilot and ground crew takes resources away from getting planes out the door. The physical exhaustion of key personnel is also a factor, as it takes days to recover from the trip!
Sebring 2006 was a good example of the time expended: TS-1 left BRO about January 10 and it was almost January 30 when it finally returned due to weather and pilot schedules. The trip to OSH from BRO is 1200 miles.
I would like to see TS-1 at more shows when there is a steady stream of T-Sports rolling off the production line. I am sure Harry would agree.
