Interesting note: someone lacking an axe handle protector (apparently) used the rubber from three Adel clamps, held in place with safety wire, to act as bungee shock absorbers.
Landing gears are home for brake overhaul and general inspection.
BTW, there has been confusion over how to tell if you have a left or right landing gear. Here's an answer - the leading edge of the gear is parallel to the axel.
Need some time to practice brazing - when I'm successful I'll make my first "user produced part" - the brake bellcrank that sits on the landing gear between the cable and the 'z' link.
