Lyc. O-145 Airboat Engine Head Gasket Available

Finally developed a source for the impossible to find Inner cylinder head gasket. Sent off a gasket taken from the engine for a model. And received back within a few days a well made copy. Installed and run up to 2250 static rpm. Will need more testing before I commit the airboat to the lake of course. Probably would qualify under owner produced part since I had to supply an engineering model and verify the application???? I'll see if the IA will go for it. Otherwise I'll have to find a lake around here. Oh the price?? $12.50 ea. + shipping. heh heh

I know where somebody can buy a good O-145 because of the "airboat" head gasket problem.

He replaced the "airboat" engine with a Continental A-65.

I'll ask the airboat engine owner how much he wants for it.

He also has an engine mount.
