  • It came apart quite easily!

We started at 10 this morning and by 3 the wings were removed, the engine as out and the gear was off. Whats left of my airplane is now hanging from the beam in my friends hangar. The biggest job was removing the floorboards and that tin piece on the bottom so we could pull the brake cables out with the gear.

Of course in the process of doing this you find all kinds of little things that need doing.

With the right tools and helping hands it actually was enjoyable.

The Alliance fly-in? Somehow I don't think it will be ready.

Now I've got to ship the gear down to Taylorcraft in Texas and wait for my Wag Aero order to arrive.

This is going to be quite an annual!

Tom, I pulled mine in for an oil change in 1989 and it's just starting back together now... hahhaha
