Sold Yellow Duck, received balance of $$ Wed. from Herman Teachout of Atlanta GA. He will be picking it up and trailering back to his home. I wish him all the best, and hope they enjoy the Duck as much as I have.

Also someone asked me if I thought prices would continue to rise on these old airplanes. The short answer is YES !
I purchased my very first aircraft in 1964, a Piper PA-11 for $750. Flew it for near four years and sold iit needing a complete restoration for $700. Not bad. I then bought a Aeronca 11-AC Chief. Only kept that one a short time. Pulled the fabric (cotton) off doing loops. Paid $1000. for it. Then went to a Luscombe 8-A, paid $1000. Now this was about'68 or '69. One of the partners impailed it on a fence. At the same time I was teaching flying also and had purchased one new Aero Commander Darter 100 from the factory (1965) for $6500. and at the same time (1965) purchased a used '65 Citabria with 75 hrs TT for $4750. In 1995 I purchased a new MX-7 Maule with the O-360, 180 HP Lyc from the factory for $49,900. Now going for about $120,000.
Look at the prices today, YES I believe prices will continue to rise. Good aircrafts always bring good prices. And unfortuantly sometimmes even bad ones do also. So buyer beware. There are many good people in our avaition community, but also many that are only after the fast buck.
I have had several other aircrafts, but this should give an example of prices. I am certain, many other members can tell simular stories. What will I get next ? Don't know, but this I do know. It will be more than $750.
IMHO for what it is worth.
