1. Parts: I'm selling some surplus Taylorcraft parts on eBay. Search "Taylorcraft" on ebay.com

2. Models: While you're there check out the "4 1945 Taylorcraft Model B Balsa Model Kits" for sale there. Is this story for real? I almost want to bid on them just for the weird provenance.

3. Wind: It's been windy here all week. This afternoon the Rapid City AWOS is reporting "Wind 170 at 37, peak gusts 59" Try landing in that!

Windy.....been there,done that and it ain't too fun.Of course I was in a C-170 and not a t-craft....come to think of it, the wind was close to those numbers the last time I dropped in to see Forrest....and I was flying a C-170.Managable,but not fun.
