  • Coffee with my A&P this morning

    1. We're both in agreement sandblasting is a pain in the butt. He uses a Scotch-brite pad on his air-powered angle grinder. I'm off to HomeDepot Aerospace to see if there is an equivalent for my electrical angle grinder. He does use his blaster if he has to and uses real sand. Scotch-brite sounds like it might substitute well for the paint remover I had planned on using to remove the paint/glue/whatever on the structure.

    2. If I want to keep my hand in flying and there is no Tcraft available, an Aronica Champ is similar to a Tcraft for training.

    3. Marinate the butterflied leg of lamb at least 24 hours before grilling.

    You'd eat a baby lamb? I won't tell my 5 year old.
