Do you have to add additional weight to the front end to keep from popping a wheelie?

Dan, that looks pretty good. One suggestion...you might rig a double block setup above your spreader, to slow down the raising and lowering process. If you are using an electric winch, the stop and go motion needs to be dampened. Are you planning to make the Ak. Airmens' show? I'm planning to be up there for the Sat. session. Dick

The engine is our counter balance. No problems so far, and we have a built in weak link, which is set at 3000 lbs.

Dick, I was planning on making it up for the show, but, Russ Winger is coming this way to look at a few of the Aircraft here. I am planning on going to floats on Sat and Sun, for an easy log book entry and weight and balance, since the IA will already be in town. But, I will be ready to pick up my new supercub early in the week!
I am not using a electric winch, but a chain hoist. Amount of travel is so small I could not justify the cost, yet. But thanks for the suggestions, and keep' em coming.
