Hello all. I have been reading this forum for about 6 months and figured I'd introduce myself. I owned a tcraft back in 97-98 a 1940 BC 65. I got my tail wheel endorsement with that bird but shortly thereafter my mechanic was hand proping it (with no one at the controls) and it got away from him and ran into a hanger. Lucky for me I was insured. Unlucky for me I now had no plane. I know have my A/P license I worked turning wrenches for a couple years and now work for Uncle Sam. I receintly purchased a salvage 1948 Tcraft and have my eye on a few others. I hope to mix and match parts and end up with a aircraft. I plan on selling parts before to long so if anyone needs stuff drop me a line. I will try to offer to this group pryor to going to Ebay. Anyway I Just wanted to say Howdy

Sounds like an interesting project. Post photos and technical info as you progress, please.

Any parts for Taylorcraft are a hot item on eBay, you'll soon find. But I really like your plan to post them here first! Best wishes on your project.
