I think we've resolved the problem; sometime in 88M's history, someone cludged this up; I cleaned it up a bit and can see where someone put a nut in there for some reason. simple solution will be to cut out a 3/8" gap (the OD of the trailing edge tubing) in the cludge, weld the trailing edge in place and put a finger strap around the whole she-bang - Mike
