  • What source is there for 'channel' stock?

Does anyone know a source for this 'channel' stock? It's part of the horizontal stabilizer and runs parallel to the longeron.

Also, I'd be interested in a source for the tapered channel stock we see in the elevators - Mike

Mike ,when I repaired my champ I bought sheet stock ,sheared it and bent it on a brake, but I dont think you could reproduce that channel yourself because of the tight bends.
I dont know if there is a source.
My elevators have some repairs to the ribs that I want to replace ,and I will make new ones . Rob

Carl, I found the web site. Are there other stock material made by that company on the Talorcraft. Thanks, Rob

Can't say for sure, someone with drawing might be able to comment. But be advised they are a custom order outfit; $1000 minimum order.

Mike ,sorry I thought you were talking about the diagonal ribs, If you have a shear and brake then the end rib would be easy to make.
