I think the least complicated way to do it would be for one person to own it and then rent to the other members. It gets complicated when property is owned by more than one person. If there is an "owner" then it is clear as to who is going to pay the bills, do the maintenance, pay the taxes, sign land leases if required and so forth. All of us that have worked on group projects know there are different levels of commitment and responsibility and a great potential for hard feelings and misunderstandings among those doing too much or not enough...
If funding is an issue, perhaps other members of the club could kick in some "up front" rent payments to get the project underway. My two cents...

I have built a few hangers at different places and under different circumstances. The first was at a private strip owned by one person. You could build your own hanger or have it built( any size )and you could use it for as long as you were at the field, but he owned the hanger. Five of us split the cost /work of building it. When repairs were needed we all pitched in with money and/or labor.. We paid $20 a month to the owner for mowing fees. There were alot of old airplanes there and it worked out great. That was the best place I have ever flown out of.

The next one was at a public airport and we built a county approved hanger, no rent for 20 years. You could sell it or your spot at the going rate till the 20 years was up.
Same thing we split the cost/work.
If you can, work it out so everything can be paid up front( building costs) so there is no monthly rent or payments to the bank. That way if you have a dead beat or two you wont lose it to whoever holds the paper.
There is always going to be one deadbeat in the group who always misses the hanger work days or is always broke and cant pay his share. Rob
