Re: Question R: Microair 760
When I bought the clip wing, I wanted to install a Micrair 760, but I could not find anyone that had them in stock. So I went with a Becker AR4201. It fits in a 2 1/4" hole and has a small power draw. It cost a little more than the Microair, but at the time I did not have much choice. I am happy with the radio, it does a gret job, I would buy another one if I needed a 760 channel radio..

Re: Question R: Microair 760
Just one more point of interest. There is a glider club at out airport that has 3 of the Microair radios. They have had trouble will all of them at one time or another. These gliders are tied down outside and exposed to all of the weather, this may have something to do with the problems.Ray

Re: Question R: Microair 760
Dick,
I have had a Microair 760 for a number of years. It works GREAT. People tell me that it sounds GREAT. The airplane has always been hangared, and I have had NO problems with it. I selected it because I needed a 'short' radio (no room behind the panel). I love it because when it is turned OFF, it is not very noticable in my 'antique' panel.Bob Waldron
