It seems there are a lot of golfers that fly, but not many pilots that golf. I've never figured that one out. The essence of both seems so similar to me....the undertaking of an almost Zen-like physical, mental and essentially solo quest for perfection. Each are a strange hybrid of art and science. You must intellectually understand all the principles involved to do either well, but in the end you just have to "feel" it. I love both and if I had a gun to my head, I'm not sure which I'd give up.
