  • F21A Spinner

Can anyone tell me were to find a spinner for my F21A it has been welded on twice and the back plate is in no better shape. Univair and Spurce both sell short spinners for 0-235/0-290 powered Pacers/Colts with Sensenich metal props that appear to be about the right size.
Thanks for any wisdom you fellows can provide,
    Mike

    Re: F21A Spinner

We bought them from a standard supplier; Wag-Aero had them too They came into the factory and lo and behold they got "approved". THEN this spinner was installed as "required" equipment ( part of the cooling tests). I would imagine the factory has to have them for you. THEN I hear rumor that the same spinner is still out there, "IF IT LOOKS LIKE A DUCK".

      Forrest,
Thanks for the lead I will chase it today and I did call the factory and talk to the parts department but they only have skull caps for the Sport so far.
If you ever head down south stop and spent a day or so in Mobile, Al. our plane is based at a 2000' grass strip less than five miles from the Gulf of Mexico, makes for great flying this time of year.
      Thanks again,
      Mike

Yep, the spinner on my F21B looked surprising like the one on my friends '49 Piper Clipper.
