  • Checking in from up North.

Alaska Tribe, here is a link that really opens up some good visualization of where we've taken our Taylorcrafts in the past and where else we might go...! This is a slant angle look at Cook Inlet. Fun to trace the route through Lake Clark Pass, etc. Scroll up to "home" and you can open up pix covering areas all over the state. Dick

Very nice Dick, but still too cold for us Louisiana boys.

        Re: VG status

Lance, have you attached your vg's yet?
I was up at Vogel on Sat. Good ice and about 3 inches of light snow. I called the Refuge office. The new system calls for $35/night for use of the cabin. You have to have your "hall pass" to be staying overnight. We can call the refuge and use a credit card...they can fax a copy of the permission slip. The cabin is in good shape. We need to start thinking about a get-to-gether. Dick

I've included pix of a legit experimental that is ongoing: "Baby, let the good times roll...over some rocks, tundra and stuff."

Okay we are ready here in Alliance for the BIG tires, what is the skinny on what is available that will fit my BC12D and the weight. We have the worst ground conditions I have ever seen , thawed out and wet. Bruce Bixler might need some too!
