Some additional info has been received by me and posted in the buy/sell section. I have two photos but have not been able to upload them or attach them. Send me an e-mail to victorbravo (at) sbcglobal (dot) net with your REAL e-mail address (not the forum private message) and I will be delighted to send you the photos.

Tribe, the T-Craft Bill (VB) is speaking of is owned by Lee Oliphant. I spoke with him. A very nice person and wants to sell. BUT, a real dog, need lots of work, a complete restoration would be necessary. In nothern CA, but he may be willing to fly it to you. My feeling. Asking 10K, but may take a little less maybe?

His phone number is: 530-432-0437 located in Penn Valley CA

And as my little "avatar" photo shows, when you rescue a "real dog" and give it a great life... you get a lifelong friend who gives you back 10 tomes the joy and love.

The dog in this little photo cost me $110,000 (really), got me kicked out of my own home, and it was well worth it. He gave me back part of my soul and sanity!

Somebody give this little Taylorcraft a good home and some badly needed rehabilitation. You will be rewarded with a lifelong friend, many happy flying hours, and a ticket to adventure!

Although Mr. Oliphant may not be thrilled with me for saying it, I suspect 7 or 8 thousand dollars will get the airplane. He bought another airplane and it is time for this one to go.

Mr. Baker... ready to make another champion Taylorcraft restoration with a little more horsepower this time?

Mr. Mays ... a rebuild project that can turn a profit?

Mr. Horowitz ... care to get reddish dope film on your hands?

                Kevin, and all,
I'm not all that far from Penn Valley and have the time (I think)--I can take a look at it if anyone is seriously interested. Take some detailed pictures, whatever. I have a 337'd 85 and have the STC also so I am kinda familiar with some of the modifications, "problems," and such. Glad to help if I can. Let's save as many as we can.

Hmmmm. Yesterday's reply to your question seems to have gotten lost, so this may be a repeat. As I looked one over and found it unsat. I posted them to the list. As I recall there were three so far: 1) one in PA, 2) another at Leonardstown, MD and 3) at St. Mary's Airport in MD. If you can't find my posting with POC info, let me know and I'll look in my files. - Mike

                    Mike,
Sorry, I mis understood what you had said before but it all makes sense now. I had looked at the one in MD before...the one that looked as if it had set through a silver hail storm.
