Re: Instument Panel
Jerry,
My '46 BC12D has two glove boxes. I love em! They do not interfere with control movement in any way during flight. The ONLY drawback, and it is a small one, is when on the ground with the yoke in it's normal full forward position, you can't open the glove boxes unless you pull the yoke back a couple of inches. The boxes themselves are just slightly shorter than a folded sectional chart. They are great for storing all kinds of stuff during cross country trips.
Hopefully there will be a small photo attached to this message showing the clearance with the yokes forward. If not, you will know that my first attempt at attaching a photo failed.

Re: Instument Panel
Nope, that is the way the bezel was when I purchased the airplane. The rest of the panel was terrible though, all cut up and holes all over the place. I managed to get a NOS panel from the factory when they first got going.Grant S. Bailey
