Wheel Pants

I am going to look at a set of wheel pants that came off a post war Taylorcraft. The description seems correct (metal rib over the center seam ...etc..) and the current owner pulled them off his Taylorcraft in 1972 (he no longer owns the aircraft). Does anyone know if there were different wheel pants for pre-war BC12 vs. the BC12D? In his description they don't sound like they come to as sharp a point on the trailer edge as pictures I've seen. In addition what would be the going price for a set of pants?

Paul, would love to have a set of metal wheel pants also. Mines are fiberglass and I believe came off a 172. Don't look bad, but was thinking of ordering a set from Spruce or Univair that looks like the origionals' (more or less). But certainly metal would really be nice
