I guess I'm beginning to be a cynic.

As I look at Tcrafts I can see a load of questions that should be answered in that ad, the first being time SMOH, the second the primer used when she was recovered.

IMO, $22k should get me a show-quality machine with a low time engine (thanks to the group's input) - Mike

I have more than that in mine, however, I paid too much when I bought it because I believed the log books. The compression test was 72-74/80 and the plane went through three annuals since the so-called MOH. Of course when I did the major overhaul, I did it right and spent all too much there. But I am happy with it and have flown it 70 hours since last April. At 3.7 GPH, I feel that I am getting my money back because if I rented an airplane at 50 bucks an hour, I would have spent $3500. Oops, forgot about insurance and hangar rent, oil changes, annuals--lets see--hmmmm.....Shucks, cant win in aviation. Who says there's no money in aviation--there's plenty money in aviation and its all my money.

True. An owner has to realize it's not an investment. It's where you choose to spend your money. You don't spend money going to a movie as an investment; you go to enjoy yourself. Same with boats and aircraft. Unfortunately, not all sellers see that, and until marketplace reality whomps them across the head, they will let the a/c go unsold. - Mike
