    I'm in.
My schedule is pretty full through January, though.

      Lee,

I was at one of your fly-ins (spring '04 I think). It was great, and I'd try to make it again, but like Tim, I'm swamped during the holiday season.

It's a pretty good haul from Shreveport to your place below Lafayette. How did your airport and house do in the hurricanes?

Brady, we faired pretty good, a little roof damage on my hangar. Have that repaired. and a few other things, but not bad compared to the people almost next door to me.

I told Tim and Vic we could all meet some place more centeral. Maybe Marksville (The Cassino) just a thought ??

Someone come up with a place. I don't mind traveling a bit. But more in the center of the State, Ideas ???

          Lee,

Glad to hear your property was mainly spared. You have a really nice set up there with the house and airstrip.

I don't mind flying down that far south. I enjoy scouting around down there. It's more interesting than up here in Northwest LA which is all trees, except right around the Red River.

For the past year I've been on a great little airport just south of Shreveport Regional called Bluebird Hill. Its a private little grass strip with a couple houses and hangars. One of the guys who owns it is a really good mechanic, knows fabric and small planes, and has really been awsome to me. They also do some hot air balloon flying and powered parachutes. It's been fun.

Guys, Vic and spoke this morning. What does everyone thing about Marksville ? Has a nice airport with a Cassino and transportation to and from the Cassino. Good food, and we can vist in the dining room. Gamble also if you are so inclined.

Date ? Before Christmas, if we can get a nice week-end. A Sat or Sun ?

            Thoughts ?

Also I have my group site, which includes only Vic & I now, but anyone can join :

Just got off the phone with Vic. He was having trouble with his carb, found grass in the butterfly. going put it back.

              Lee/Vic,

It's going to be tough for me to get away for a day in December. I'm working the first and second weekends in December, then going on vacation toward the end of the month. Sometime after the new year is better for me.

Oh Well, It looks like I am going to make this one in my PA22/20. The old T-Craft is going under the knife. I hope you guys don't mess with me too much for showing up with a pacer. I do want to look at all the t-Crafts that will show up. It might give me ideas.

I wouldn't mind attending, but the place and date are factors. Just let me know what you guys decide and I'll see if I can pull it off......

Re: T-Craft's in and around Louisiana

Marksville is an easy flight for me, so I'm game. The only weekend in December that I can make is 17th or 18th.

All this sounds good. We'll see what the next nice week-end looks like. Marksville seems to be the best place for a centeral location. I'll try and set a date and see how that works.

Everyone is invited. Marksville has a nice Casino and nice airport, with suttle service service back and forth to the Casino.
