  • Cost of replacing tailbrace wires and fittings?

Anyone have an idea what it would cost to replace tailbrace wires and fittings?
    Just the wires?
    Just the fittings?

Good morning Howard. Yes, I did query before I asked the question, but the ad didn't not include wires for a BC-65, hence the question - Mike

I found tailbrace wires at Univair for the BC12-D at appx 20-25 bucks apiece.

Does anyone know if either of the above suppliers offering will fit the BC-65? - Mike

I heard that someone in AK now sells approved tail wires for these planes. For some reason $60 sticks in my head. Think it was "Burls Aircraft"

Burl's Aircraft, LLC has been in business since 1982. Burl's Aircraft, LLC designs, engineers and manufactures FAA approved parts for light general aviation (GA) aircraft (up to 12,500 lbs.)

Re: Ak. tailbrace wire Source link

Check within this link under ""Parts"...then try " PMA" (The Taylorcraft wires are listed at the bottom of the relevant section)
