  • Parts Needed

We are finally getting ready to cover our 1941 Deluxe after a 4 year ground up resoration and are in need a couple items. Would anyone have a pair of wheel pants they want to sell or recommend where to go? I would prefer fiberglass. We are also in need of a new headliner – does anyone sell a replacement?

    Re: Parts Needed

Wag Aero lists Wheel Fenders (pants) for T-Craft but do not know how close they might be to original. Knowing Wag Aero, probably not too close. Most everything I have bought from them that were not from major vendors always had to be modified a little to get to fit. Never bought any wheel pants though.
Airtex may be able to help with a headliner especially if you have an old one for a pattern.
    Hope this helps.

      Re: Parts Needed

I ordered a headliner ("T-Craft BC12 Wool Gray Headlnr") from Aircraft Spruce and Specialty Co, P/N 09-17552-4. It was a very good start with all of the pockets for the bows and the shaping done. It included lots of additional material all the way around to allow for a variety of ways to install. My wife and I spent a weekend (a total of 17 hours) in the hangar with her sewing machine fitting and cutting and attaching (see prior post). Aircraft Spruce people were very pleasant but admittedly not very helpful relative to its actual installation (but then, no one on this list serve admitted to know anything either). If you would like to hear more about how we installed it, let me know. It really looks great and I have received a number of compliments concerning it.
