There must be someone out there with some of these parts or know where I could find them. Updated 9/26/05
My plane came with the bubble one piece side windows. I want to go back to the sliders like my old T-Craft had. Would consider trading these bubbles for a set of sides with all the sliding hardware.
Hello everyone,
I bought my first BC12-D in 1964 for $850, flew it for 5 years and 500 hrs and sold it for $1200. Biggest mistake I ever made.
Last summer I bought a wrecked BC12-D to rebuild. I need several parts. I thought I had found a set of landing gears while at OSH, but the gentleman got sick when he got home and I have not heard from him since.
I need both landing gears as they are mangled pretty bad. Wheels and brakes I have are OK. The plane had damaged left wing and struts as well as struts damaged for right wing.
The left wing had mostly spar and fitting damage for the rear spar at the fuselage attachment area. I could rebuild the wing, but the project would go faster and easier if I could find a good left wing. No cover needed.
The forward right fuselage LG fitting is damaged. If any one has a drawing of this fitting, I could use a copy to help in fabricating a new fitting.
So, the parts I am looking for is a pair of LG and a left wing.
I have some Cessna 206 parts, some Stinson parts and some Mooney parts if anyone wants to make a parts trade, but will purchase outright too.
Thanks for your consideration.
