    0200 stuffed into all new metal work on a short mount. Gone are the incorrect trunk latches for this date build. Added are bumped shielded ignition. No those are not welded nor riveted/scabbed on. Bumped out the old fashioned way. Some may not want em but it is a clean way of doing it ....... kinda like a radial engined cowl . Nose bowl was a mess. Cut up like so many for the newer style airfilters. Credit to the Wenglarz for the all new metal and to Barry Hutton at Peach State Aerodrome in Georgia for putting it all together (including the not so easy task of bumping the top cowl pieces.) Next will be the Clayton Skylight STC install when back home in South Carolina.

    Awesome work, Jim!!! I'd been thinking that the bumps should be "bumped" myself! Nice stablemate too!! I owned 2 SR5's....although just for a day. Long story, but I got screwed. A friend already owned one, and we thought 2 more would be a nice "round" number!

      Thank you John! . The Taylorcraft is currently in the back of the hangar of Harry Balance. That is his SR5 . The metal work was all completely done by Barry Hutton to include the all new formed aluminum wheel pants cuffs you name it. It is one beautiful airplane that has been written up several times .
