Welding project

I'm getting better with my gross(1/8") welding and have built a welding stand.
I'd like to do an aircraft related project, perhaps this jack stand, but I'm confused as to what I'm seeing at the top.
Anyone got a suggestion where the welds are for the legs and what's at the apex (beside the support 'X')? Is that a piece of angle iron on the right? - Mike

looks like angle iron with a 2" long 3/16" piece of rod bent to 90 degrees welded to the top of the angle iron

not sure how it works with a t-craft as the little "v" would be closest to the wheel and I don't recall place for it to fit in.

looks like the top side of the tubes are joined to the angle iron and the bottom sides are all joined together
