  • Throttle Cable

So ASS helped me with an owner produced part. The cable looks like I recall the orginal ! Wow did not break the bank and works smooth as silk in the trial fit. Happy as a clam.! Click image for larger version

Actually had it temp mounted in the primer hole! Will need to drill out to I/2 inch the proper throttle hole I think. Need to re look at it. Anyhow by using the right hole I believe it will be a perfect fit. Really did not need a spacer for it where it was . With it coming back about an inch I believe this will be perfect!

      Hello Jim,
i have a 1940 BC-65 and the throttle cable sticks from idle to about 1000 rpms. I've lubed it and there are no obvious kinks, it's old ad I'm thinking needs replacement. I haven't been able to find anything online. Can you tell me a little more about your cable? it looks identical to mine.
      thanks.

        Ed,
if it is sticking it sounds like it could lead to a disaster!

Please PM me here. I am more than happy to share with you all the details
