Does anyone remember a T-craft with springs on the wing struts to absorb rough turbulence? .It was about 30 yrs. ago or so. I read a little piece about it and never heard anything else.Didn't seem like a very good idea though, just curious if anyone ever heard of it.

I remember that, makes me chuckle that was 30 or 40 years ago I bet. I think I used to see an ad in Trade-A-Plane for them. Think they were for a number of aircraft. I bet they are listed on the STC list. I'll try to remember to look it up later. Dave

That BC12 belongs to Perry Virgin in Peru Maine. Hey flies the heck out of it and it is on floats in the summer. There are hydraulic cylinders on the struts and a tank inside that is pressurized with air over oil.
