  • Front strut to spar fitting

I'm still having trouble finding a front spar to strut fitting. Its been about 6 months and several wrong parts later and still can not find the correct part.
Can anyone help or send me in the right direction. I believe its part B A 809.2 . It is the heavier metel with a small square tab welding both pieces together.

    Thanks, All suggestions appreciated

I have what appears to be a valid drawing of that fitting and it's parts. If you cannot find the part, and want to have one made up for you, you can use the drawings I have. Try to find a fabricated part first. If you call the factory, I suggest you order it COD, even if it costs you and extra $20.

      Thanks
I have tried the factory and have not got a definate on anything. At this point I'm ready to build one. Let me know what I have to do to get a copy of the paper work.
      Thanks

Did you try the Taylorcraft misc section of Trade-A-Plane? There is usually a company listed there that claims to have many parts. Dave.
