  • Help - Can't attach Picture

I have tried to start a new thread with a picture attached. Can't seem to attach the picture. The picture is below the maximum file size but when I press submit new thread it seems to try to send the message but takes forever then finally times out!

Anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

    RE: pix help

Grant, Rob Lee helped me with this info: Quote: " make sure the pic is no greater than say 80kB, to avoid long download times...use an image editor to get the size right. I use Paint Shop Pro, there are plenty of others." Dick

I will try again with a smaller file size.

Bear with me. I am resizing pictures to see what is optimum for this forum.

          avatar's

Thanks Robert. I resized an image to 8K then 7K then finally 5K. Each time I tried to submit the "avatar" I got a message saying the file size was too big! So now I tried to send it with this message by hitting the IMG button but that didn't work either! What is it I don't get?
