Several years ago, I took my plane to a place in North Carolina to get some help with my condition inspection. I have a repairman's certificate, but didn't have the equipment to do the compression check. Spent about 4-5 hours doing stuff. When it came time to pay, the fellow just said, why don't I just mail you a bill. I shocked!! Keep in mind that I had absolutely no previous relation with this fellow. I made sure to send that check out the same day I got the bill (a couple weeks later).
