What is a 'tailclip'?

Looking thru Capt. Jon's site I spotted this 'tailclip' . The accompanying text sez "If your tail area is so bad it can't economically be fixed, this may be your solution!"

My impression is my bent tailcone could be cut out and this welded in place.

Yes very well KZU is serial #9628 and the tail is from 1013 I belive.
Just make shure you have good welder doing the job, keep her straigth.
Spliced som 30" ahead of the fin. I dont know exactly there.
