  • Who is best source of Lift Struts?

I am ready for a replacement left rear strut on my restoration. I'm willing to buy new or used - I thought I better check here to see if anyone knows of better pricing than Univair (plus shipping to KS).

I got mine from Univar. The shipping was by air and I picked up at the airport, so that wasn't too bad. The factory quoted about the same price. That was several months ago when this site was buzzing about the factory not delivering as well as expected. Recent postings seem to indicate that that might be different now.

My previous strut was the smaller, original size, so the jury strut strap is a different size. Somehow there was one that fit in all the parts that I got with the restoration!

    Good luck!

I bought a strut from Univair a little over a year ago and am very happy with it. It cost appx $600.
