  • Yellow Duck Flying

Finally after four months and lots of work, and a trip to the hospital, Yellow Duck is flying again. Very extensive annual. Not that expensive, just time. Altho did replace the Mags with two new slicks, and the no. 3 cyl. Plus the new SS exhaust and new heat shrouds, new tires and brake linnings, new baffelings. Guess it did cost more than I thought.LOL

Have the new tubro alternator wired as it should be. All in all looks and flies pretty good.

Jason, installed the bumps. Used aircraft pop rivets (no rivet gun) and no rivets on the nose bowl. just sits there.

Lets hope everything goes well and last until next annual.

        Howdy Lee,

Glad to see you in the air again. And, remember, the big flat things that stick out to the side should always be on top!!!!
        Best Regards

Thanks guys, nice to be back again. Lot of rain this week, should clear up some this week-end. But is so damn hot and humid, the duck get over the trees, but not by much, even solo. Need that larger engine or diferent wing.
