  • Mag Switch Rebuilding

I'm rebuilding my '46 BC12D. Would like to have someone rebuild / overhaul / rewire my old lever type mag switch. The June issue of the Taylorcraft Owner's Club newsletter provided a contact:
    Patrick Kraus
    Vintage Aero
    Westport, NY
    (518) 962-2323.
Problem is that number isn't working. Anybody know a good number ... or someone else who does this?

    Thanks ...

    Rod,

Have you thought about rebuilding it yourself?
In the March 2004 Taylorcraft Owners Club newsletter
there is 3 pages on "Care And Repair Of The AAF Type A7
Magneto Switch" It's a copy from the Cub Newsletter.
    Hope this helps.

      Thanks Don,

I joined TOC about 6 months ago, so I don't have the March 2004 newsletter. I went looking around on this website and found some discussion about archives, but it doesn't sound like anyone has these posted yet. Could you email a copy of the 3 pages?

      Thanks,

        Rod,

When it comes to computers, I'm Fred Flintstone. It took me a year to finally navigate around this site. If you send me your snail mail address I'll copy the pages and send them to you. Send your address to [email protected]

        Hope this helps,

        Don
