    I planned on painting the pilot side of my wooden prop black to stop the sunlight from hypnotizing me on final. Someone suggested there might be a problem caused by different heat/light absorbtion. I wrote Sensenich and they said:"It will not cause any problems if you maintain the propellers balance.
