        Thanks Kev - problem has already been addressed by another helpful soul.
        Now I'm going to stare at it for a while and see how I might extend the surface area a bit to the right (it's the right-side pedal). I need a bigger target to aim for, as I can only only use my heel and have no feeling in that foot. - Mike

          Mike,
          Have ya ever given any thought to welding a rectangle or oval plate to the peddle facing in the direction to the right.Reason being to the right is so you don't get it to close to your left peddle and grab the right by mistake while applying left brake.The plate would also give you a larger target for your right foot to find.

            KEvin - that's certainly viable. maybe something that's curved to match the curve of the pedal. Now - that will make the pedal face just a bit higher; wonder if the difference would bother me, or get in the way of removing my foot from the rudder pedal....
