  • T-Craft Fly In

Is there going to be a T-craft fly in at Columbia Airport (O22) this year? I remember in past years it has been on Mother's Day weekend. If they are having it what weekend is it? Thanks in advance.

Yep, Memorial Day weekend. I'll be there along with several others from Oregon and Washington.

        Re: T-Craft Fly In

THANKS for reminding me!!! I will try like hell to get up there and meet some of my fellow T-crafters!

Now if I can just figure out a way for my wife to find something interesting to do back home... she doesn't do very well in light wing loading airplanes.

Is there any contact information for the event organizers...motel info...gas info???

          Re: T-Craft Fly In

May 27-28: 16th annual Taylorcraft Rendezvous, Columbia,

Calif. Contact Ron Sawyer (209) 536-9415.

The best bet is to camp on the field. There is a beautiful grass strip with camping on the north side. The camp ground has a club and bath house nestled in the oaks. The motels are 3/4 - 1 mile away as the crow flies.

Breakfast on Saturday is at Pine Mountain Lake and dinner is put on by Ron Saturday night. Everyone pitches in $20 or so.

There is fuel on the field and they will drive the truck over the for the Rendezvous crowd.
